The HSE regularly prosecute individuals and organisations for breaches of the regulations, particularly when these breaches result in death or serious injury to employees.

THE NEED FOR TRAINING - Falls from height remain the single biggest cause of workplace deaths and one of the main causes of major injury.Apply via the ‘Apply online now’ button in the course information page.If the course is not available for online application, you can download an enrolment form via the ‘Apply Now’ tab on our website.The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes.A range of assessment strategies to meet different student’s needs will be selected, including theory and practical assessments.This course is for managers and employees, and gives candidates a good overall knowledge of the Working at Heights Regulations, 2005.This will enable candidates to organize and plan working at height, avoid risks and select appropriate work equipment for a particular task.JMD Training, Unit 2, 6b Wildflower Way, Boucher Road, Belfast, BT12 6TA One Day This one day course provides candidates with an understanding and awareness of the dangers associated with working at heights and of the safe systems of work to use whilst working at heights.The course provides an awareness of the risks associated with working at heights, understanding appropriate legislation, focusing on the importance of correctly using all equipment for work at height, including steps; ladders, mobile towers, work platforms and MEWP’s and safety harnesses.Don’t take the risk, make sure you know how to protect yourself and your equipment while working at heights.Enrolment into this course must be finalised 5 working days before the course commences The Work Safety Centre is classified as a 'Construction Zone' so the student must wear appropriate safety PPE at all times.
