Students who are inspired by their faith tradition to work for justice at the local, national or international level, and from any faith tradition are invited to apply. The application process consists of three short essays. BATC - Housing First Minnesota - Several $2,000 - $5,000 scholarships will be awarded.
Applicant must be a graduating senior and accepted to a 2 or 4 year post-secondary program in residential construction or related field. Applicant must be seeking to learn a construction related trade, including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and others.
Must be a senior with at least ¼ Native American and member of a federally recognized Indian tribe.
Must be accepted to a MN college, university or vocational school. Must be a member of the credit union (minimum of deposit) - to join go to one of the three locations in Duluth.
Applicants must interview a Vietnam Veteran and write a brief essay (500 words or less) on the following: “Does this veteran feel the US accomplished anything fighting the war in Vietnam?
” Applications are available in the Career Center and are due to the foundation by May 10, 2019.
